Our Story
AntiguaRecon was founded in 2022 as a vehicle to teach young Antiguans cybersecurity skills, with the longer term intent of offering cybersecurity services to Antigua and the broader region.

After a little over 2 years, AntiguaRecon is now attracting a list of customers across Antigua. Our goal is to build our experience, and then expand across the region.

We have a team of 10 junior ethical hackers backed up by 3 senior cybersecruity professionals.
​
Our Founder, Adam Dennis, has created 5 companies, 3 non/not for profits, and 2 for profits. He is a 25 year veteran executive at running tech companies, and serves as the lead trainer for AntiguaRecon.

Our training program combines content from a range of platforms such as TryHackMe to HackTheBox and TCM Security. We use certification training to focus on specific skill development over time. We then reinforce the learning process via virtual Capture the Flag events (CTFs), King of the Hill competitions (KOTHs), bug bounties, and apprentice-based training with real customers. This is done to ensure that the learning material is fully understood and able to be applied to real world scenarios by our students. Finally, our senior cyber security experts further ensure practical learning by supervising the learning process whether certification based, or for a customer.
Besides our cybersecurity focus, we also use Scrum.org's "Professional Scrum Master" certification training so that our students have the skills necessary to build teams, manage projects, and learn how to improve over time. Such training will create well rounded cybersecurity professionals who can not just do the necessary technical work, but manage teams and projects too.

Jan 2022
AntiguaRecon Launched!
After months of work tailoring our offering using HackTheBox.com and Scrum.org, we launched our training program with 15 students between the ages of 15 and 24.
Jan 2022 - December 2024
Train the Team
Our training originally focused on developing pentesting and vulnerability assessment skills, but expanded to include simulated phishing, compliance and data security/privacy assessments, OSINT darkweb research, and cybersecurity awareness training. Numerous certs later, we concluded that we were ready to offer services locally and around the region.
Q2 2025
Open for Business!
Our goals for the first quarter of 2025 involved transitioning our efforts from cybersecurity training to cybersecurity services for customers, landing 3 customers highlighting our core skills, and training our team in best practice based customer management and service delivery. All customer work was supervised by our senior cybersecurity experts, ensuring that our work always met industry standards, and that our team learned how to become seasoned cybersecurity professionals.
